One thing you probably didn't know about me
I was born crippled in the 60’s. I was a March of Dimes poster girl, Easter Seal camper, and a specimen for doctors at Shriner’s. I walked on my toes until I was 9yrs old and had surgery at Shriners. I could not do so many “common” kid things such as sit cross legged, open a door with one turn, et al. I had what is now called arthogroposis (short tendons).
That combined with asthma kept me from so many activities I wanted to do in the 60’s that kids do now with asthma. I have been conditioned for so long that I can’t do this or that due to my “medical conditions”. Well, excuses, lies and everything like that stops now. The crack in my “excue/lie” shell is there and I am emerging a NEW LIFE…...
